Mr. NeJame joined Gleacher & Company in 2008 as a Managing Director and Co-Heads the Firm's Restructuring & Recapitalization Advisory group. With nearly 20 years of experience, Mr. NeJame was a founding member of the Restructuring Advisory Group at Lazard Frères & Co., where he worked for over 8 years. Prior to joining Lazard in 1999, he was a Director at Alex, Brown & Sons, in that firm's restructuring advisory group. Most recently, Mr. NeJame was a Managing Director in Imperial Capital’s Investment Banking Division focusing on leveraged finance and restructuring advisory transactions. Mr. NeJame began his banking career as an associate in the Corporate Finance Division at Kidder Peabody & Co. His experience comprises a broad range of strategic advisory assignments, including M&A and specialized corporate finance, including assignments on behalf of Safety-Kleen, Reliant Energy, Oglebay Norton, Movie Gallery, Vlasic Foods, Eurofresh and SpectraSite Communications. Mr. NeJame also acted as a derivatives market advisor at the Swiss Options and Financial Futures Exchange (SOFFEX) while working for Accenture in Zurich, Switzerland. Mr. NeJame received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Cum Laude, from Duke University and his MBA in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
