Greg is a founding member of FA Technology Ventures. Greg has over 22 years of venture capital and private equity investment experience. Prior to joining FA Technology Ventures, Greg was a Managing Director and co-founder of Seacoast Capital, an independent fund providing equity to rapidly growing companies. Greg joined Signal Capital (from which Seacoast was spun-out in 1994) in 1990 after having been a Principal of Capital Growth Partners, a small- to middle-market private equity firm managing US and off shore funds. Greg's extensive venture capital experience includes developing and implementing all aspects of the investment process and ranges across various industries. He began his career in engineering/operating capacities with General Motors and Digital Equipment.

Greg currently serves on the Boards of IP MobileNet and BinOptics. Additionally he has served on the boards of Softricity (acquired by Microsoft), Concentrix, Community Rehab Centers, Mearthane Products, ClinCare, Xamax Industries, NASCO, and HGP Industries.

Greg earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from General Motors Institute (now Kettering University) and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Kenneth Mabbs

Ken is a founding member of FA Technology Ventures. Ken brings over 23 years of diversified corporate finance and investment management experience to the Fund. Ken served as Director of Corporate Investment Banking at Broadpoint since joining the firm in 1991 until January 2000. Over the last five years, Ken was involved in most of the merchant banking activities at the firm as well. Prior to joining Broadpoint, he was a senior investment banker at Bear, Stearns & Co. in New York and Boston, focusing on financing transactions and strategic advisory work for emerging growth and technology companies. Ken has completed over 250 investment banking transactions in a broad range of deal types, including leveraged buyouts, strategic mergers, joint ventures, private placements, venture capital, and public equity and debt financings. He has acted individually as a principal in acquisitions and has represented Bear Stearns and Broadpoint as an acquirer in its merchant banking activity.

Ken serves on the Board of Directors of Knoa Software and also is a Board Observer of E Ink Corporation and A123 Systems.

Ken earned his BA from Denison University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

George McNamee

George is a founding member of FA Technology Ventures. George has spent much of his career working with emerging growth technology and new energy technology companies as mentor, founder, venture investor and board member. He currently serves as a Director of privately held Autotask, MetaCarta, StreetEasy and CORESense, as well as Director of publicly held iRobot (NASDAQ: IRBT) and Chairman of Plug Power (NASDAQ: PLUG). Previously he served on the Boards of MapInfo (NASDAQ: MAPS) and the META Group (NASDAQ: METG) and as Chairman of Mechanical Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: MKTY).

In addition to his responsibilities at FA Technology Ventures, George is a director of Broadpoint Securities Group, Inc.

George received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University.

Claire Wadlington

Claire joined FA Technology Ventures after a series of operating roles at venture-backed companies, most recently as VP of Finance & CFO of Cayman Systems, Inc. (telecommunications equipment). Claire was a member of the management team that sold Cayman to Netopia, Inc. (Nasdaq: NTPA). Prior to joining Cayman, Claire was CFO of a publishing and an Internet company. She had a primary role in the sale of the publishing company to United News & Media PLC (UNMPC). In addition to her operating roles, she worked as an investment banker for nearly a dozen years at Broadpoint Capital, Inc., Lazard Freres & Co. and The First Boston Corporation.

Claire serves as Vice Chair of the Executive Board of the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge; the Board of Trustees of Christopher House, Inc., Christopher House Assisted Living; and is a Director of the Crittenton Women's Union. She is also a member of The Boston Club. She earned her BA from Yale University and her MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

John Cococcia

John is a founding member of FA Technology Ventures. Previously, John was a part of Broadpoint Enterprise Funding, f/k/a First Albany Enterprise Funding (FAEF) where he was responsible for finding, structuring, negotiating and monitoring private equity investments. Prior to his position with FAEF, John was a member of the equity research group at Broadpoint Capital, where he assisted with the coverage of the manufacturing and enterprise software sectors.

Prior to Broadpoint, John managed the New Projects and Production Engineering Team for Amphenol Corporation's Communication and Network Products Division, where he assisted in the rollout of new products and product lines for the cable television and wireless communications industries. John began his career at Ford Motor Company, where he was involved in various aspects of manufacturing, operations and engineering.

John currently serves as a Founding Director and Treasurer of the Upstate Venture Association, Founding Director and Treasurer of the Eric Evans Memorial Charitable Foundation, Vice President of the Rensselaer Alumni Association Board of Trustees, and as a mentor to the Union College and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute incubator programs. John also serves on of the Board of Directors of Applied Nanoworks, Knoa Software and StreetEasy as well as serves as Board Observer of CORESense and BinOptics.

John earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering and his MBA with a concentration in finance and entrepreneurship from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Giri Sekhar

Giri joined FA Technology Ventures in May 2001. Prior to FATV, Giri was the Director of Acquisitions for the Internet Capital Group, a venture firm focused on business-to-business e-commerce. He led the firm's investment efforts in the Food and Retail industry. Before that, Giri spent several years at McKinsey & Company, where he was an active member of the TIME practice (Telecom, Internet, Media, and Electronics). He brings extensive experience in wireless communications, having served clients in the cellular handset, infrastructure, service, and satellite sectors. Giri spent his early career as a computer programmer, designing office automation and industrial process control systems. Giri has diverse technology interests - his active areas of interest include mobile technology, application/infrastructure software, and internet-enabled businesses.

Giri serves on the Board of Directors of Autotask, OnePIN and Groople. He serves as a board observer for Creditsight and IP MobileNet, and until just recently, Softricity (acquired by Microsoft). Giri commits considerable time to helping build out the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Boston area. He is a Charter Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) and chairs the organization's Keynote Dinner Series. Giri is also on the Advisory Board of the Association of Latin American Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA).

Giri graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania's Management and Technology Program and received a Masters in Management from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Molly joined FA Technology Ventures in January 2002 as Office Manager. Prior to joining the firm, Molly was an Executive Assistant in Business Development at The Reference, Inc., a Financial Software Services company. Formerly, Molly spent seven years at Harbor Capital Management in the Executive Office as well as the Marketing and Sales Department. Prior to Harbor Capital, Molly held positions at New England Securities and BioSurface Technology.

Molly received a BA degree in Business Administration from St. Bonaventure University.
