John joined American Technology Research, Inc. in June 2003 and has over 6 years of equity research experience covering Semiconductors, Semiconductor Capital Equipment, and Clean Technology. John began his equity research career as a member of the American Technology Research Semiconductor Team in San Francisco where he spent several years as an Associate Analyst focused on analog semiconductor companies, as well as the semiconductor capital equipment space. John has been a Vice President, and Senior Research Analyst covering the Clean Tech sector for AmTech, and now Broadpoint.AmTech, for over three years focusing primarily on companies in the solar and wind industries in North America, Europe, and China. Companies under coverage include SPWRA/B, FSLR, STP, JASO, YGE, SOLF, WFR, VWS.DC, GAM.MC, and AMSC.
